"In that place, in those discussions of life and love,
I was not just another human being, struggling forward.
I was a part of something bigger - not alone, never alone.
While others on that trip may have felt God's hand
in their lives in the people we served
or the hardships we faced,
for me it was in the people working alongside me."

Middle School Youth Program – Grades 5th – 8th This active youth program is focused on fellowship, service, and discussions on spiritual and social issues. The program strives to gather twice a month during the curriculum year (September – June) with activities from sharing a meal to a community service project.
Confirmation and Youth Group Program is an important part of our youth’s life together within The Old Meeting House community. Based on the number of youths, we gather our 7th – 9th graders every other year for a Confirmation class. At the end of that year, the Confirmation class joins our Senior Youth Group (grades 9th - 12th, who have finished Confirmation) on a service project trip. Past trips have included service/community-based activities in Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia.
Service is ingrained in our youth programs, as a foundational part of what and how Jesus teaches us to live in action. We are always looking for more teachers to participate in leading a lesson, sharing your gifts and giving back to our blossoming youth and contributing to their spiritual growth. Please notify the Children and Youth Education Coordinator if you would like to participate in any one of these programs. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling opportunity where adults are often surprised to discover that they receive back as much as they give. Curriculums are available if you are not sure where to start. Thanks for considering being a part of this important ministry.
