Weddings

The Old Meeting House is a beautiful and historic space, where many couples have chosen to have their marriage ceremony. The Old Meeting House is closely affiliated with the United Church of Christ, and we are an open and affirming congregation. Our ministers would be happy to meet with you about the possibility of officiating your service. Our wedding brochure is available for download here.

Marriage as Ministry

In the past, the pastoral staff of the Old Meeting House has hosted this eight week workshop, predicated on the belief that in all our relationships, especially in marriage and civil union, we can strive to embody the grace of God to one another. We will use the model created by Harville Hendrix in his Imago Relationship theory as our framework for study and practice.

You need not actually be married to attend but you do need to be in a committed relationship. This is appropriate for those who feel their relationship needs a boost, for those in crisis, but mostly for any who desire a deeper level of intimacy and understanding.
