New Members meetings are being arranged through Rev. Susan Cooke Kittredge. There will be three meetings in late May28, June 4, and June 11. Those who are interested in learning more about the Old Meeting House and exploring membership at this church should contact Susan. You may call the church office and leave her a message. Reception of new members will take place June 15.

Please don’t forget that Good Samaritan Haven in Barre needs meals. The Old Meeting House congregation has a commitment to provide two meals a month (the first Sunday and following Saturday of each month) to this homeless shelter. This is only 24 meals a year, but we are having a difficult time getting the slots filled. Will you please consider giving an afternoon of your time to prepare a good, nutritious meal to those in need? If you would like to help out, there is a sign up sheet (January – June 2008) in the Parish House or just give us a call. We currently need volunteers for every month in 2008 except January. The Circle of Care committee wants to remind everyone that we are here for all of us: for new parents who may welcome help as they adjust to life with an infant, for seniors who can use assistance around the house, for someone who needs a ride to an appointment. Everyone needs help at different times. We would like you to feel free to call Laura Brown 454-7723 or Jessie Taylor 229-4617 or anyone on the committee and let us know how we can help.
